Rolling into Ubeda by bus on Friday, Nov. 24, we initially thought we’d made a big mistake.

But, oh no!

Ubeda far exceeded our expectations and earned our respect – from our stay at a palace converted into the Parador Hotel, to our gastronomy experience at Antique, to its five walking routes through its Renaissance architecture, to our visits with artisans like Ubedies Artesania, and the inaugural concert of the 2023 Festival de Musica Antigua de Ubeda y Baeza featuring Vox Luminis inside the Sacra Capilla de El Salvador.

Now it’s time to hop on a bus bound for Granada, where we’ll spend two weeks, including Monday through Friday mornings in Esquela Delengua.
